Eva Longoria was recently sued by a woman who alleged a slippery floor in her Las Vegas restaurant caused her to fall.

Eva Longoria, actress from the show "Desperate Housewives," recently had a lawsuit filed against her, with plaintiffs seeking $25,000 in damages after a birthday party at her Las Vegas restaurant, Beso, didn't go according to plan.

TMZ reported the lawsuit was filed against the 36-year-old actress by Luiza Boyadjian, who alleged that during her birthday dinner with friends at Beso, she fell because of the slippery floor.

According to TMZ, Boyadjian alleges she suffered major physical injuries following the fall, which included damage to her nervous system.

Almost one year after the incident occurred, Boyadjian filed a lawsuit in L.A. County Superior Court for unspecified damages greater than $25,000.

J.T. Torregiani, a managing parter for Beso, told TMZ he was not aware of the lawsuit or any incident happening of that nature in the past.

Beso has been in business in Las Vegas since 2009, after the grand opening of the first restaurant the year before in Hollywood. Longoria runs the Latin-inflected steakhouse restaurant with celebrity chef Todd English.
