Singer Usher's ex-wife recently filed for full custody of their children after he allegedly broke legal obligations.

R&B singer Usher faces a legal battle with his ex-wife after she filed court papers recently to strip the singer of joint physical custody of their two children.

According to TMZ, Tameka Raymond, who was married to Usher for two years, alleges that the famous singer has repeatedly broken his legal obligations as a co-parent.

Court documents obtained by TMZ stated Usher failed to receive permission from his ex-wife to travel outside of the state with the kids, which he is legally obligated to do. In addition to traveling without permission, the court documents also allege Usher failed to get approval before hiring nannies, give his ex-wife an opportunity to watch the kids if he's away more than eight hours, let her have custody of the kids during Christmas 2010 and allow her to take the kids for two weeks in the summer of 2011.

Tameka also says Usher closed her credit card at Saks 5th Avenue and failed to pay $5,000 per month for her own nanny, which he promised to do. Now, TMZ is reporting he owes $34,000 worth of payments.

Usher's protege Justin Bieber has also been the center of a legal battle, as a woman recently alleged he fathered her child.
