Actor Tobey Maguire recently settled a lawsuit that was filed against him for multiple underground poker games played in 2007 and 2008.

Maguire has agreed to pay more than $80,000, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.

The "Spider-Man" actor was one of 22 people who were sued this summer for participating in poker games that allegedly wiped out Ponzi schemer Bradley Ruderman.

The label on Frankel's Skinnygirl Margarita states the drink is made up of 100 percent blue agave tequila, which according to the lawsuit is false.

A lawsuit was recently filed against Lionsgate Films in Los Angeles Superior Court by a consulting firm that alleges it wasn't compensated for helping to secure Nicole Kidman's Oscar nomination for the film "Rabbit Hole."

According to the lawsuit filed by GBB Consulting, the company provided Lionsgate with logistical services with the goal of obtaining awards, including Academy Awards, for the film company's theatrical releases in 2010.

Eva Longoria, actress from the show "Desperate Housewives," recently had a lawsuit filed against her, with plaintiffs seeking $25,000 in damages after a birthday party at her Las Vegas restaurant, Beso, didn't go according to plan.

TMZ reported the lawsuit was filed against the 36-year-old actress by Luiza Boyadjian, who alleged that during her birthday dinner with friends at Beso, she fell because of the slippery floor.

According to TMZ, Boyadjian alleges she suffered major physical injuries following the fall, which included damage to her nervous system.
