About

Hi, I’m Kooh. My goal is to help creative people and entrepreneurs focus on their ideas by taking care of the boring legal stuff for them.

I represent clients in the state of California in a variety of business, entertainment, and intellectual property matters, including L.L.C. and joint venture formation, licensing agreements, fair use analysis, and contracts.

While my core law practice is in transactional matters, some of my proudest career moments were when I was able to branch out and help clients in litigation matters. One of my personal favorites is when a client asked for my help defending against an opposing party claiming my client owed them money. Though the opposing party’s attorney had decades more legal experience than me, I was able to help my client defeat the claim that they owed any money to the opposing party and then succeeded in getting the opposing party to agree to pay my client more than four times what they had originally claimed my client owed them.

In my consultations, I listen carefully to my clients so I can get a good sense of what their business and career goals are. When I’m not in the office, I enjoy making funny song parodies and nerding out by helping friends and family get the most out of their tech gadgets (especially if Linux happens to be involved).

Why I Practice Law
It’s simple: when someone tells me they have a dream, I want to help them achieve it.
Fun Fact
My very first client happened to be my best bud from elementary school!
