INTENT-TO-USE APPLICATION

An application where the applicant has a real intent to use the mark in commerce, but has not actually done so at the time of filing. For such an application to mature into an actual registration, the applicant must file an additional form proving actual use of the trademark in commerce, and an additional fee.
